We're back!

Well folks it's been a while...but we're finally online at the house!
We hope you've all been well... we've been here, there and everywhere...
Well mostly the here there and everywhere consists of work home and either Lowes, Home Depot, Kelly Hardware and a grocery store or two... in the last 4 months.
We thank you all for your warm wishes in our new ventures...
Home ownership is very cool... yes there's lots to do but it's all very new and exciting... right down to watching the BEHR paint dry... that's the current big project... the house is brick but the trim is wood... so it's slowly going from crackling flaking butter cream to primer white to "Nature Trail" we thought this was appropriate... it also matched the sided area on our garage... due to inclement weather on Mike's vacation this project is in its third week... although it has been received very well by the surrounding neighbors as well as the local bird population... We seem to have a new tenant living at the back of the house on a downspout... conveniently right above the garden... Yes, we have a garden... which should not surprise any relatives considering the family back ground... it's a small one though not like the grandparents... just some tomato and green & red pepper plants... while the painting is being done flowerbeds have been dug, garages cleaned and woodwork has been washed...
On a break or for meals our favorite spot is the porch... especially when there's a breeze... it's great! Even to watch the planes come in... hmmm I wonder where I get that from.... Ahhh well must go... we'll be updating the pics soon!
