Things we learned in the last week...or so...maybe a little more...
The new "pepperoni bread" recipe is good... quick and easy...
The plant in the yard with the orange flowers wants to take over the world...
or at least our back yard!
Lady bugs like Gladiolas...
Slugs are not just one or two inches long... they can be 5 inches long...
Skateboards should be under the skater not behind... DUDE!
Grape tomatoes turn red in dozens, not just ones and twos...
and most important...
A Robins talons hurt... especially when they're going after one's head!
Yep... one of the triplets fell out of the nest this past Wednesday and with the Momma not around... or so he thought... Mike tried to swiftly get it back to it's nest...
Luckily he's fine... the baby that fell out was ok it just kept hopping until it was out of reach and in the next yard... we felt bad... but have come to the conclusion that it must have been time as they were getting too big for the nest and that evening the nest was vacant... and no one has been back since... we've just prayed that the cat's in the neighborhood didn't get to any of them...
