Well we certainly hope your new year is off to a roaring start! We also hope all of you are staying warm... and being careful when and if you are out in the cold shoveling, driving, and or walking!
For those that don't know... we've experienced a few new things this year already... and we don't wish to repeat them any time soon... here's what we know...
If you have a funny feeling in your chest... ie indigestion get it checked quickly!
The average persons veins are 4-5 mm... Fairview hospital's ICU is chilly!
The DMV mug shot on your drivers license is perfect compared to a hospital ID badge.
The hospital gift shop has magazines geared toward women... so if you're a guy bring your own! Waiting for the end of by pass surgery at the hospital is "like waiting in the airport". When your brother-in-law says that they figured since we bought a snow blower... we wouldn't get any snow - expect 8 to 10 inches within a day or so of said comment! The best thing of all is that miracles do happen... since Dad is doing well after having "indigestion" and the surgery that went with it... without much pain!
At the same time our dear sister turned 50! So for those of you that missed us blogging... there's been a lot going on... but with the prayers of family and friends we're getting through. So thank you... God Bless and be well!
