Now working in the printing industry... there are a few things that truly amaze me...
One constant is how we can manage to print things on a moments notice... and make incredibly short deadlines! Another more recent cause for amazement is the amount of calendars that we are given by various sources! And the variety of them!
While the freebies are in abundance... we did choose to purchase the ever popular tear off a day calendar for home use... Mike has chosen Pearls Before Swine a comic strip that he thoroughly enjoys... that leaves me often saying "what?" I had given someone as a gift the Old Farmers Almanac tear off a day calendar and then decided it would be an interesting choice for myself... aka something new and interesting... while it's getting off to a slow start... I have found that this week it's peaking my interest... and have to share with you all the quote for Jan. 6th...
"The Wise Man Knows He Knows Nothing; The Dunce Thinks He Knows It All"... My interest peaked I've also acquired a copy of the almanac itself... so far the interesting find there is that we're supposed to have a dry cold winter and a dry hot summer....things that make you go HMMM?!
