The New... the old... the in-between

Greetings! What's going on with all of you? We know you all have busy lives but take a minute to slow down and catch up! Most of you that read this have our email address and yet... there's no response! What's going on? Tell us what's new, what's old or even what's in between! Like last Saturday we went to the train show at the IX center! It was very cool! Or last Sunday we found our our church was chosen by the bishop to close... Lately in conversation with co workers we've come upon a topic of being in a rush always in a hurry and yet things were not always that way... back then things were enjoyed at a slower pace and there was a higher quality to... well... a lot of things... so slow down for a minute and tell us what's going on!

Here's what's going on with us... spring cleaning has trickled down the street from our brothers house... although we are not yest scrubbing carpets (he borrowed our scrubber) nor blowing out the dust from behind the fridge with an air compressor... Sue has begun the move everything and dust and vacuum process and the if ya don't need it out it goes process! While we continue with the bathroom project and the insulation project... our new garage door is due at the end of the month... and the green things are sprouting in the yard... mostly tulips, daffodils and crocus at this spring is here and there are lots of buds everywhere!

Speaking of buds... we have a new bud living at our house! Last Sunday we adopted a wonderful cat! His name is Oliver August, Ollie for short. He is a black and white tuxedo. His birthday is September 20th, 2004 thus he is 5 years old. He is very calm and sweet. Today he had his first trip to his new vet and we were told we "got a good one". We also found out he weighs 14 pounds... we'll try to keep it that way as he's very much a lap cat!
That's all our news for now... now it's your turn!
