Weekend

Weekend is a term referring to two traditionally non-working days in a seven-day week. For more information, see Workweek. Usually Friday Night until Sunday Evening.

For those that have been there and said "weekend? what weekend" the above is the definition! Thus, how was your weekend?! What did you do?? Did you work??

Well... this weekend we worked and then we played! We first painted the back of the garage early Saturday morning... which was going well until it rained... in the rain we put down ground cloth and diverted some of the mulch from our tree to the back of the garage in the hope that the weeds and whatever else from the yards behind us stop traveling towards our yard! aka. painting and landscaping! Then there was a trip to the store for typical supplies and then to the video store... we've not rented movies since we moved here! We rented 3 to watch while it rained... we were going to go to "mini-bat night" and see the new Lake Erie Crushers baseball team... but it rained and when it stopped well there was the movie... what movies you may ask... Valkyrie, Marley & Me and Bride Wars... Interesting, Sad and Funny... Sunday we went to St. Barts with K & J and then took them to the last St. Wendelin Summer social/Garage Sale... it was probably the hottest day of the year so far! J played many games and won many, many prizes! and Not because the folks running half of the games were related to us either!
Weekends just go too fast!
