The Lord Bless You and Keep You....

The first reading at mass on New Years Day is probably my favorite... Every NEW year you get to hear "The Lord Bless You and Keep You"... and every year it takes me back to a song that my classmates and I had to sing to the rest of the school our senior year... I sing horribly, but it is a short and beautiful song sung by the senior class at their farewell mass... and the salutatorian incorporated it into our graduation some 18 almost 19 years ago... The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord lift his face to shine upon you, give you peace and be gracious onto you... this is what I hope and pray for you our family and friends this New Year!
