How many inches do you have?

Well it appears that the groundhog was right.... we all have a plethora of snow... except Vancouver?! Recent conversations between family members have begun with "how many inches do you have?" Also some fun pics have been taken and texted to each other... even the relatives 8 houses away... One of these was entitled "catch my drift" due to the fact that the driveway was almost meticulously clear... aside from the 3 ft drift right outside the door that provided a protective wall around our rose bushes.
While we have not gotten the brunt of it here in the north... the south has gotten plenty... see how it pays to move south where they don't get as much snow?? I better watch it we're supposed to get more tomorrow night...
There is an end in sight...Ollie is back to his window perch looking for outdoor activity as we get up to birds chirping almost every day. The sun was out just last weekend - it hadn't been since Dec. 12th according to the news... soon it will be time to reseed the lawn, fertilize, plant new plants/shrubs... mow the lawn and we'll be complaining about bugs and heat! I've bought my new garden gloves already!
