HOMEWORK

Did you do your home work?  Something we didn't think we would hear when we finished school... Then home work was something the teacher would give to reinforce the lessons.  Now it could refer to research for a product you may wish to buy. Or, in our current case literally working on our home! In which case we have had to do home work to work on our home! Hurricane Sandy hit us too.  Thankfully not as bad as some others!  Our hearts and prayers still go out to those folks. Now that winter has passed we find ourselves patching the crack and spot on the living room ceiling from the leaking roof (Sandy ripped a shingle or two off).  The roof has been repaired and just last week the chimney had a 3/4 rebuild! Things are shaping up! Currently we're working on the living room. New colors have been selected and purchased and we're in the prep stage. Remember the 32 mirrors on the wall, those that came with the house...GONE! Speaking of home work and prep though... I'd better get going on the wall paper removal... that was behind the big mirror above the fireplace...along with an outlet?!
